What's in my Lush Goody Bag?

So I recently bagged myself a part-time job at Lush. I know right? I now officially smell amazing 24/7. Well.. I like to think I do. So I'm now officially, a working girl at the bath&body heaven called Lush. This new job's given me motivation to BLOG, BLOG, BLOG. So, my first post is all things Lush. They gave me a little goodie bag with some treats, [especially hand-picked]. I thought I'd share some pics & first thoughts on the products.

THE LOT:

So here is Mr Donkey Oaty [bath bomb form]. He was especially created for Easter but he's still got friends sitting on Lush's shelfs waiting to brought home to a warm bath! When I looked inside my goody bag and saw this baby perched inside, I got all excited! I'd used him before hand inside Lush to demo for a customer. This bath ballistic doesn't disappoint. It fizzes up like crazy and turns the water into a mist of yellow and pink sherbert yumminess. Sure, he only lasts one bath [unless you slice him down the middle] but what a bath it is! I got out smelling of the lovely Ylang Ylang essential oil [similar to Lush's Charity Pot]. All of this pleasure for only £1.95!? He's worth a lot more ;)

So I'd never really ventured into Lush's hair styling products and now I've realised I was starking mad! The minute I smelt and touched The Big Tease, I was in a heaven of oranges and lemons [oranges and lemons say the bells of Saint Clements...lalala]. This really is styling gel that's good for your hair. No preservatives. No animal testing. No yucky chemicals. All natur-ello. BEWARE though, this stuff's as strong as PVA! It'll hold your hair any which way you want. [try saying that 10 times]. There's two ways to use this:

♥ When your hair is wet, simply plod a bit on your hands and run it through the lengths of your hair, scrunching the areas where you want extra texture and extreme hold

♥ When your hair is dry, just rub some Big Tease in your hands and style away off into the orangey, lemony, cocoa buttery, jojobaery sunset

Oh how I love a bit of whipping with this Whip Stick. No I don't have a lisp, it's not lipstick, it's whipstick [loving these Lush names!]. I'm sure you can see from the pictures above that I love this. It leaves my lips so soft and juicy smelling or terry's chocolate orange. The vanilla absolute, orange oil and real chocolate [yes, you're eyes do not decieve you, REAL chocolate] make this lip balm like no other. I could quite literally eat my lips. But I won't. Or will I? Anyway, the beeswax and wheatgerm oils soften my lips bringing them back to life! I pretty much love this whipstick. Definite recommendation!

& then there was Seanik. Yes, this is a shampoo in a bar! Or a shampoo bar. Either way, it's pretty damn amazing. I'd never really ventured into the world of Lush Shampoo Bars, but it's a brilliant world. I've heard stories that these babies work miracles. The 'New' Shampoo Bar, designed to help hair growth actually worked for a customer at Lush! This baby here is a concoction of Jasmine, Mimosa and Orange Blossom which give it it's luscious smell and salt and seaweed which give it the solid texture and the magic ability to give your hair volume! & I always find my shampoos running out like the speed of lightning, but this bad boy lasts 60 washes. In the words of Kim Impossible- Boo Ya!

♥ I simply wet my hair in the shower, rub this baby on the top of my head, pop it in my Lush tin, and scrub-a-dub-dub. Voila! Clean washed hair, simple as.
